I don't think there is any problem with the route sheets being so close to the event, I think people wanted to know that we could get the route sheets (download) even a couple of days before the ride so we can print/sort them out to work with our route sheet holder/system.

Are there going to be different options for the provided print-outs?
As since I don't have a route sheet holder, I normally just print 2 rows on a A5 bit of paper and put it in my tank bag.

That's a shame, I was looking forward to an in-depth discussion on boxer twins.
Have you got time for a shandy at the after match?

    I'm a touch pissed myself....

I assume the after match is at the salubrious green hut at Riverhead, no promises but I may be able to wangle that.

    Arh....dat would be me!

I'm earmarked as the site whinger as I think i may have been offensive in wondering, out loud, if all of us would be standing around in the rain at briefing saturday morning, trying to stick and roll( not to mention cut!!) our route sheets together.

I now tell myself; 'this is and adventure' and be grateful.
I'm no gynaecologist, however I would be happy to take a look......................

That could happen. Wet sticky tape is a bitch, but nothing compared to a wet roll chart ......:-). I wonder if Oscar will bring his R80G/S as well. This things are great tree stump removal and rut leveling tools.

Yeah, seems as though its a bit of the case of 'God help anyone who might question anything or utter any words discontent about anything", lucklily my attitude is God helps those who helps themselves.

    Life is about having fun.

From an 'independent' reader's POV, it seems a little like some ppl making demands and slagging off the organisers, rather than politely asking and waiting.

Snide comments about 'the other site' don't help, either. Especially since the owner of THIS site's response to (constructive) criticism is, "if you don't like it, fuck off". There's quite a few ppl who've taken his advice, and I dare say vege might be one of them - not that vege would necessarily take such advice when offered!
    Cheers,
    Colin

I'm not sure what you two need more - a sense of humour or some HTFU pills.

I haven't managed to source another tank for it and I'm too crash prone to risk the mint big one, so I'm riding Austrian this weekend.
I did think about riding the XT500, but Stretch says it's a big bike ride and I was to stop talking like a wimp and ride the 950.

God some people complain! Just spent the last 20 or so minutes reading.... I'm looking forward to coming up from the Wairarapa to do this ride. I sent in my money and waited. Knowing damn well relevant information would arrive when it was ready. Patience people! As for a GPS? Nah, I'm not even going to respond to that! Rock on the weekend!!!

I can't be fecked reading all the shite on the interwebs.... But I would like the ride at the moment. Too much work makes this fella a pretty dull guy.

A quick scan of the last few pages, and I see Chris was decent enough to put the only useful info I could find in large red font

Think I will send him a PM. Better pay my monies, and get my shit together. See you in the weekend gents (and all the others ).

Assuming I can get my maintenance sorted without disasters..... Getting sick of kicking the 640....

I'f you'd be keen to ride it, I still have my small tank. I could put that on my bike and let you use my R100 tank.

So what's Stretch riding then? The Cagiva is not exactly a behemoth. Having said that, I know he would try to get a Munch Mammut through there and probably manage to do it.
