While the Police may get tut tutty about motorcycle apparel, if a rider is wearing a "securely fitting helmet" and isn't offending public decency, all the cops can do is collect statistics. They can only uphold the law. Fortunately ATGATT isn't legal. New Zealand already has way too many stupid, unnecessary, unenforceably laws. Please don't give us any more.

Well I will be running the gauntlet tomorrow on my way to work. Should I receive any kind of lecture, I will remove my kevlar pants, jacket and gloves, stow them in my top box and continue my ride in jeans and t shirt. Fuck the safety nazis.
