not a sort after bike(an250 burgman)but cant believe nobodys picked it up yet,it hit a pole on alten ave,and must have been an impact cause it snapped the forks off.
so if anyone wants it for parts,go for your life

well you would think it would have been removed by them by now wouldnt you?
the first few days it was up against the pole probably exactly how it ended after the crash, now its been pushed down the hill onto churchill ave which is 50 metres from a police yard

I'm pretty sure it's theft if you just take a bike without the owners permission...

Maybe rider is banged up in hospital and can't get it moved or something.

Some nice biker fellow or fellette could always see if the details are available at the post office and knock on their door.

This bike is a 2000 Suzuki AN250, Silver Reg: 61UIN
The bike has now been uplifted, the police have the owners contact details and will attempt to contact them. Someone has really done a number on it by stripping bulbs, mirrors, tailight and indicators, number plate and rego label. The front forks look like they have been removed as two bolts are missing on the LHS of the triple clamp and the ones on the right are loose. The lock on the seat has been tampered with but the ignition etc are still intact. It has not been reported stolen, there is no 3rd party interest and there has been no accident report filed.

If you know the owner or have any info please contact Auckland Central Police or myself on 021 156 9448

Lets get this bike back to it's owner.

I figure any bike outside my house for more then 3 hours has been abandoned and I have salvage rights.

Its backfired a few times when the owner of the bike has been visiting me and then I wheel their bike into my shed and tell em to fuck off, I found it, its mine, they can get a taxi.

Without going too far into it, the rider was hurt in the accident and there has been issues with making arrangments to collect the bike.
