Are petrol stations open on Christmas day?

Im not much of a fan of Christmas, so im thinking ill spend the majority of the day putting some km on the bike,
just wondering if anyone knows if they will be open or not?

Yeah I wouldnt expect the little rural ones to be open, as many arnt open on a Sunday to begin with

Alex will be open normal hours, as will Tekapo ...Omarama ... Wanaka ... queenstown (24 hours there) and stations on main tourist highways and main highway towns.
