    Thanks mate.
I start with 220 grit paper (harsher if there are gouges of deep scratches), then 600, 1220 and 2000 grit. Polish by hand with Autosol.
    I wish I had a buffing wheel or a dremel/die grinder.

Just finished the rocker cover, forgot to get a pic. Will upload tomorrow.

You putting a clear coat or anything similar over the top? I spent ages polishing up the clutch and magneto covers on my old RM and within the space of 1 ride, they'd gone all horrible and skanky.

Will be waxed. Clear coat will cloud a bit as it's not as clear as you think.

Oil leaks? I suppose, it's no Honda
Which reminds me, I need to locate some black gasket goo.

Ordered an LED strip to go on the rear edge of the tail unit for a brake light, one can never have enough brake light-ness.

Cleaning up the starter motor and throwing it back in today.
Forgot to defrost the chicken for tea though, too busy playing with the bike

your building it up as a streetfighter ay?

you know bout NZStreetfighters.com? I built up a couple years ago and they were a priimo bunch of fellas always helping out etc, got sent parts for free from some of the guys and some straight refused to let me pay them back lol. Sadly sorta lost touch and was outcast when I started riding fully faired tidy bikes and refused to chop em up and streetfighter them hehe.. didn't quite fit in anymore.

I'll fighter a bike once I've crashed it and ruined it enough. til then i leave em as is.
