    Car tyres on motorcycles?

Has anyone known anyone who's done this? Madness! It's not uncommon in the USA.

I did quite a bit of reading about it ages ago and it seems reasonably common

The only thing I'd be worried about is insurance issues in the event of a crash

The only thing I can't undertsand is why they run such a high pressure, it shouldn't be needed for the load it's carrying

deep breath mate..............and may i suggest a bottle of evening primrose oil caps fella
met a guy at the puhoi one day ridin a rocket 3 who had done the same............when asked how the steering geometry must be affected by the tyre tipping like in the video he replied he only runs about twenty something pounds in it so the sidewall collapses rather than tips as in the vid, reckons he saves a couple hundy on a tyre...........i reckon hes nuts...........sidewalls aren't designed to collapse

I'd be interested in checking the interior of the tyre after it's been run, it's easy to tell if it's being damaged by the low pressure

lol, I give you a 1.5/10 for your trolling effort.

from that video, it almost looks like the angle of the swingarm, and the angle of the rest of the chassis are different when leaning, Im sure that much of that could be put down to tyre side wall distortion, but surely the square shape puts unusual forces on the swingarm/swingarm bearings? that cant be healthy when added to the natural flex in a chassis?

Im sure its fine for a properly set up drag bike though.
