No one fell off!
Almost everyone got up the Maungatapu Summit bank!
Everyone? got up Linton Hill! And some Down!
There's been a dozer down Linton Hill and the rocks in the middle are easier than before and there's a little dirt coverage which helps.
One little rock fall going up to Horse Bridge, one bit of tree down near the head of the dam, some nasty looking cracks in the track that may make it 1/2 a lane when they let go, otherwise the Maungatapu is in pretty mint condition.
Heringa Stream was even doable. Sort of.
The base of the stream was a bit lacking in traction. The base of the climb wasn't.
Nearly looped it and then there wasn't enough traction to get going again. That was the only part of the ride where knobs would have made a difference.
Where?
One water bump down the bottom pylon track nearly caused soiled daks. The back end came up a bit high and the additional height of Jatz'z oilskin meant I got quite a surprise...
I don't like it when the front end comes down a second or two before the back...
On an incredibly knarly slippery hill, and by the way it wasn't me.

Thanks guys..
