His strength and courage are nothing short of amazing and his sense of humour is in fine flight. This is the strength that has taken him this far and which will ensure he will never be beaten.

    Total respect to you Tony

If following the Natalie Murphy story doesn't break your heart, then you see this news. Ynot Slow was yet another faceless name we all shared comments with on this forum, but to hear this is just...sad.

    Ok, on motorbikes :P

Can you also explain what you would like us to do - I imagine we can ride with the baton holders for some of the way?
    What else can we do?

(I've read through the site and your post and its not entirely clear to me what is going on... add to that a 3 week old baby and no sleep and you see my problem)

The fine tuning has yet to be attended to...I know what I want to happen but I have not heard from all those that I have pm about it so until then...what you read is the nutshell version...I only came up with the idea yesterday so I beleive I have done pretty well thus far.
In good time, the detailed version shall emerge.

ok, so if i'm reading this right there are two events.

    1) The 24 hour relay at mt smart stadium which mom is organising
    2) The relay from welly to auck incorporating a different set or riders operating at the same time.

am I right or am I finally going crazy?

Mostly correct..the 24 hour event is on the North Shore but the rest is right.

You bastards, bloody hell I am humbled nearly in tears with pride and awe,be neat to travel with the batten and meet the great and some unknown generous, wonderful, kind people,am open to suggestions if this can be done, turn it into a piss trip even lol.

Am amazed, sounds stupid but could someone arrange and keep these threads for me,would love to have a record at my funeral to express my grattitude to you all,my girls would love a momento of my othherside hehe, unsure how this could be done, but the couple of threads started for the ideas for relay and this would be welcomed.

And after speaking with Mom,Maha,MSTRS,Yungatart and 86 GSXR I am lucky to have people like you guys in my life, sadly way to bloody short in cases, but it's the quality of person not the time I cherish.Words really do stump me.And that is really a rare thing,am humbled, proud, priviledged and in awe of the true feelings shown in a short time, merry xmas to all, give your loved ones a hug.

Ann mum says thanks for hug,was plenty to give, hugging peoplel will be the death of me yet,and not even new years eve yet heaps of hugs and kisses lol.

Pleasure is all ours Tony...we are the ones that are have had our lives enriched by the mere fact that you have been in them.

We will be away for a few days...back on Tuesday.
I will give the logistics of this ride some thought while we are away and hopefully, when I get back I will some clear idea of how it will pan out..
Basically....someone takes a bit of wood and rides up/across country and gives it the next bloke....where it/they will finally arrive in Auckland sometime later that day..all in the name of Tony Mills and some arse thing called Cancer

Ain't that the truth. Thanks for getting this off the ground Mark, it's a bloody good cause and as good Bastards go Tony is right up there for me, it's an honour to be involved even in a small way plus I get to ride, win win.

Funny you should say that. I just looked at that song that Matt has written and said to Mark, poor old Tony will be loved to death at this rate

Happy Christmas Tony, hope you have a fantastic day.

Stop it, already. You're upsetting us. And the BDOTGNZA would like to register it's disapproval of the spelling and punctuation.
    See you on Monday, mate.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Hard to imagine I was good at spelling in school eh,and what's the worst the BDOTGNZA can do expel me,huh.

I will say this many times till I die, many many thanks, there is/are many more folks way worse off than myself, many have no family or friends to call on,I am lucky, yes I am ill and dying, yes I will stillfight my skinny(now)arse off,yes I am so impressed and humbled by the love and respect shown, and no am not scared of death, just think the reason for my crap is in this thread.

Actually it is in some way embaressing the attention I am getting here, but also is a good way for me and you guys to share the love of bikes and comradeship 2 wheels invokes,I am so looking forward to boxing day, been 30 yrs since last been, and man with the situation I am boing to enjoy.
