No it wasn't his fault, he slipped on an inadequate surface, there was gravel, adverse camber, water, snow, boiling tar, sheep poo, hobbit phlegm and other unmentionables on the surface that the government, ACC, Waitangi tribunal, United Nations, Klu Klux Klan, Buddhists, and faith healers should have taken responsibility for. You can't see the Police car parked as it was back up around the corner...I know it was there
cause he closed the road off to stop cars/traffic from heading around that bend into the straight.

it does make you think its all very well having flash bikes but sure do make mess when crash and talking about pain
suffering involved gee makes us look like dicks, and govt going on about acc levys look at that video

maybe everone should spend day working with poice amblance staff and we all have better attitudes to each other
