What does the 6k machine do that is worth it? I imagine ease of use, does it make better beer?

I make a lot of beer at home. You can certainly do it faster than 3 months, but it is fair to say the the beer is at is best with a few months rest.
Due to DB Breweries trademarking the RADLER style of beer, and thus ensuring that only DB can supply RADLER in New Zealand, I banned DB products from my home and workplace, including DB merchandise.
I have been known to throw customers wearing DB shirts out, so its taken seriously.
So I was surprised when an old mate showed up, carrying a case of TUI and expecting not to be chucked out.
But his visit was cunning.
He said Tui is so far from being a beer, that even DB dont have the cheek to put the word beer on it.
I checked, and nowhere on the packaging, bottles, anywhere does DB use the word BEER to describe TUI.
Maybe he is right. I think so. So I have broken my own rule, and I have allowed a TUI poster on the wall.
DB Make Beer.... Yeah right.
David must play fair with the other kids, even the idiots.
If the Williamswarn carbonates by CO2, that will speed things along vs. homebrew bottle carbonation.
I brew all-grain homebrew from scratch, brew day to good drinking would be about 5 weeks: 1 week ferment, 1 week dry hop, three weeks in the bottle.
$5660.00 +GSTway to expensive for your average home brewer.
I'll stick to the way I brew![]()

When the WW brewer was released there was an item about it on the TV3 News IIRC.
My first thoughts were, "Cool, how much?"
Then I found out the answer and lost interest.
I wish them well though, it appears to be clever and innovative. Here's hoping some big corporation doesn't rip them off.
