Use the A5 version (second link). When printed on and A4 page and trimmed it should fit nicely.

Right now you need to save the file to your computer. If clicking on the link doesn't give you and option to save to your computer then right click on the link and choose "save link as" or "save target as" or similar. You then need to connect your Zumo to your computer using the USB cable. Step 3 is to open the Garmin software you have installed on your computer i.e. MapSource or BaseCamp. If you've not installed the software you should have a CD that came with your Zumo - install the software from that. Once Garmin software open, open the gpx file, select all the routes in the list on the left of the Garmin software screen and use the "Send to Device" button to upload to your GPS.

Once you've done all that you need to change your Zumo to the "off road" route preference for the ride. See your Zumo manual. From the copy of the manual that I've found the route preference is in the menu under Tools/Settings/Navigation/Route Preference.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers R

Do just noticed TA has bet me too it. A bit more detail above though. I'll reiterate though OFF ROAD mode!

Makes me feel happy I'm using the roll chart .....'Use the A5 version' seems to be the only instruction needed there

Who's still looking for/hasn't arranged accommodation?

Before I start calling, I might as well try for several people.

I'm looking at tenting Fri-Sun (hopefully leaving the tent there over Sat) unless I can get a room and motel or something in Alex.

Otherwise I'll just tent the lot.

I'm going to sleep in back of van on Friday night but probably should go in the camping ground in Fairlie. Need to leave it there till Sunday. Should probably get onto that.

Is there anyway of copying & pasting the sections of route sheet so there are 3 columns on the one page to make printing them out easier.

Yes but it will cost you. Involves a bit of hacking around with PDF's, turning them into JPG's etc. The freeby software has a function to do multiple columns per page but its broke unfortunatly (been broken for about 4 years).

Easiest way for now is to print double sided or to print half the pages turn them around and put them back in the printer and then print the other half on the other part of the page.

Picked up another Nelson bike this week, this TTR250 being bigreddog's DB ride.
Roll on the "dusty bummer" (DOC staff interpretation, not mine).
