The TT350 shock is a bit... Lacking.
About 15 clicks of rebound adjustment but 3 is enough to go from locked to too bouncy.
I don't think there's much oil in it at all.
It needs a hypodermic needle to recharge the nitrogen with the stock resovoir and it has no compression adjustment.
I however have an adjustable resovoir from the XR350 that should fit and the bladder holds pressure by the looks.
Cleaned it up and prepared to dismantle the shock...
Pulled the upper shock bolt. No problem.
Pulled the lower shock bolt. No problem.
Decided not to do the shock until I could have someone who knows what they're doing, looking over my shoulder.
Greased and put the top bolt back in. No problem.
Greased up the bottom linkage and put the bolt back in. No problem.
Ran into an issue with the bottom shock bolt nut however...
It has no threads. Shiny as Shreks head. The bolt threads are not too flash either.

New SKF wheel bearings and seals at 96,620km.
Old fronts were notchy, rears seemed OK.
Better safe than sorry with the longer rides coming up.
Now after more careful measuring, the DR adjusters are 1.5 out.
There's about that amount of play on the inner of the adjuster around the axle.
Did my first bolt extraction yesterday
Pretty bloody happy as it was studlocked in there.
The damage...
I've mounted the pegs in the stock position and will se how it goes for the next week.
If I don't like it, I'll put the lowering kit back on.
They've worked well for over 3 years now but this is the first real hit they've taken with the weight of the bike behind them.
They've had plenty of rocks hit them without issues though.
If I learn to weld, proper lowered footpegs will be the first thing I'll make...
The stock footpeg height is weird...
Can't get the rear brake high enough and the shifter is too close...

Road sign & clear sillycon FTW...
Not really as pretty as the ones I bought online from that DR650 guy/place whose name I can't remember right now but I'm sure you already know.
Same idea, same method of attachment.

Yep, there's the original alloy ones by Perry and the stainless ones from Procycle.
Wondering if the silicon will last further than the first heat cycle![]()
