Canterbury Wednesday Night Ride

Fun ride tonight, thanks guys!

Bloody hell, it's not like me to get home at 11! Was a much longer WNR than usual, we went to check out the Hurunui pub, Wed is their pizza night. $5 Hawaiian, $8 Meat Lovers and $10 Lamb and Mint. Pretty nice pizza too, worth having a fun ride with good people to get some!

Was a awesome nite to be out riding , we shot past hurunui pub must have been near 9pm on way back from motueka and saw some familiar looking bikes , would have loved to stop but ryan was pretty naffed and I still had to unload landcruiser before work in the morning . Meeting north of chch sounds like the best plan.

Had you pulled up along side as we went past the Mud House I probably would have recognised you but it was getting pretty dark by then ...

Yeah I thought about stopping, but it was getting late and I thinking we were all on a mission to get home.

How is it having the ol girl back?

The Bonnie is a funny wee scooter and I do like riding it a lot.
I stand a better chance of keeping my licence on it, than the Gixxer. (which I do like ride for a completely different reason )
And do enjoy riding it at a slower pace.

Did you get inundated with bugs as well?

Yep bug city, but that's part of riding at this time of year.

Funnily enough, Mythbusters had an item on tonight about whether a bug could kill a biker by hitting their windpipe at speed. It couldn't unless it was some massive rare African thing that weighs a million tons at hits you in just the right spot going at 85 mph.

I have been hit between the eye once by a Bumble Bee, in an open faced helmet and had to stop my eye were watering to much and had a lump for days.
That was bad enough.
Glad haven't got that African bug. LOL
