) Had forgotten what a climb it is up to the Mt Arthur road!! (Would be 2 1/2 years since I was up there with the JATZ's last time). Tis a gorgeous ride down the Westbank road.. love that bit where the trees make tunnels over the road!!
The Hidden Cafe at Tapawera is very cool.. (complete with a feisty eel in the pond!) & they make a pretty good Mochachino!
The weather held out.. only hit the rain as we came back into Tahuna.. but it sure got cold from there on!!
Neck was all good!!!& the workout gave my shoulder/neck/back/arm muscles some needed exercise
Definately up for more adventures.. but must work on my landings...

Anybody got any def plans for getting down to the dusty? I'm gonna head down the west coast this year - Leave on Thursday cruise down & maybe stay at a backpackers in haast or somewhere & then head to Fairlie.

Mountie and I are heading through Molesworth Thurs morn and possibly meeting up with alane's lot in Hamner to take the short cut thorugh to Lees then parking up in Methven ready for the pre ride ride on fri..... but that could change.
I've just got to be in Kaiapoi by about 5pm Thursday for dinner.

Yep saw them go past. Wasn't me cos I was out cable bay. Heard a lot of bikes come thru about an hour ago.

Ulysseesss were gathered at the Ale House just after lunch and had left when I got out of M10.
Saw umopom standing around looking ktm'ish.
I am heading to Fairlie down the Wet Coast as well depending on the weather, but leaving Friday.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
