That Pizza was amazing, definitely going back there again! and already anticipating next weeks ride!
Nice to meet you jen , noticed Kyla was quite happy on the throttle..... . May look at the peg hotel as a meeting point in future runs up to hurunui.......always a pain getting out of the city at that time of nite... Few faces like .bigone. I haven't seen around for ages.

Pizza was pretty fab considering the price as well!
Had a play on the way home Not overly used too being in the front of a big group and having to be restrained .......nice to keep things pretty casual thru aye, and a firm ride idea before wed.

    Hey all,
Thanks for a great ride, first WNR on my sexy wee triple, and I TOTALLY LOVED IT. I remember how much I miss riding regularly when I get to ride.... fancy that!

Great to catch up with you guys that I havn't seen in a while, and to meet some new folk... equally great to see such a great proprtion of women along, whether riding or pillion, it adds to a more interesting evening

Hope I can make it along again soon, I will be watching out for weekend rides more now too, so point them out for me if you think of it!!
    Cheers guys

    Em xo

Thanks, Kyla is a speed demon on that trike.. I lost her on the way home, night riding was a first for me but apart from the bugs that kept committing suicide on my helmet, it was actually pretty awesome.

I"m with Em, I was impressed with the amount of females that joined in, and after seeing all those great bikes I"m itching to get into something bigger lol

Yep, absolutely. Like Em said, keeps us boys under control a bit more and it's lovely to have such a mixed lot of people/bikes/styles/backgrounds etc. Another fun evening, thanks all!

    where too next??

I know, it has only been two days but any plans afoot about the next WNR?? A bit of notice helps me get along if it is not going to take me too far from the nest!

Also, safe and happy travels to all those heading off to rallies this weekend! Lucky!

    Cheers,

    Em

Yep that RD has been a great investment, +1 for the Beltronics RX65.

Was a good night out, except my jacket is now made of moth instead of leather - could barely see out of my visor which made things interesting around the Ashley Gorge....
These aren't the bikes we're looking for....

    next week

Reckon we head to Aka for the next ride, make the most of the long daylight evenings (ie bigger ride)... tea there aka .... and to keep everyone happy back over the hill in daylight...and stop for a beer/wine at taitapu pub..... then its easy run home in the dark.
If weather not to flash, shorter circuit and back to taitapu pub ,as everyone knows their food pretty darn good too

No wet weather gear yet, this drizzle dosn't put me off, ridden in much worse, but wet jeans isn't such a nice feeling lol

I'm up for another Wednesday ride, warning though, those sharp corners do have me going slower
