    Short jackets

Who makes a short Cordura/Texile jacket? ie waist length.

I find that all the Cordura jackets I've owned are all too long in the front. Most ads show the model standing up with a jacket coming down past the hips. Fine when standing, but I find that they all bunch up in the groin when sitting on the bike. Only ever notice this after buying. Heavy trousers do the same, bunch up across the thighs.

My old leather jacket is ideal but lacks armour and wet weather capability. Also being waist length in the front it tends to be too short across the lower back.

Was in there a few days ago and they had a few waist length ones. Especially had some nice summer weight ones with lots of venting etc. Be great on a day like today!

I have a Teknic Textile/Codura Sports summer jacket. It is short around waist. It has shoulder, external elbow and lower back armour. It has removable inner and lots of vents. I might be willing to shift it as it is a wee bit too big for me. If you interrested.
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

I have heard from a reliable source ( an importer of a well known brand) that the short jackets aren't that popular, and that not many are being brought in to NZ nowadays.
Got me buggered. The longer ones aren't much chop for riding sport bikes.

On my GB500 (leaning forward slightly) the jacket was more scrunched up across the lower front than on the cruiser. Why can't they cut them shorter in the front? Oh well, guess it's a good enough reason to look for something else to buy
