How can you read anything into Seths comment at prizegiving ""i wish i had your bike": as being maliciuos.
Your bike as is Sams is quicker than ours........ im not denying it nor am i complaining or shouting cheat (as others did too us when we were winning) Its up to us to catch you not for you to slow down.

I do not go running to the authorities (as some do) just because i dont win. If i have a legit cause to do so i WILL but using the correct channels. Currently i have no cause. If the authorities wish to random tech check machines then i will be first in the queue.... but NOT the instigator.

Sorry but thats the last time i will congratulate you for winning................ wish you good luck..... but wont be crying if its bad luck either.

Of interest is that we have a special prototype main piston fitted into Nicks rear shock, procured from Ohlins only a couple of weeks back. This has a ''dump valve'' characteristic that allows a fairly aggressive valving stack calibration for initial chassis acceleration squat control but also allowing the ability for the shock to absorb the nastiest bumps. Nick is basically saying that he is feeling no bumps from the rear shock. Another side benefit is that its a lot kinder to the tyres, his Dunlop wets looked fantastic at race end.
This piston had only previously been used in the automotive incarnation of TTX36, in the car racing world the ability to ''kerb strike'' ( so ''shortening'' the track ) with minimal chassis disturbance is of paramount importance. This is the very first worldwide test of this piston in motorcycle application and it was certainly very encouraging.

Jellywrestler, yes they certainly know how to party! But if you look closely at this team its very close knit, focused and very well presented. Their total sponsorship is by no means handsome and they are bearing many of the costs themselves. This is also pretty much the same for Choppa who is also quietly getting on with it. All power to these guys who are salt of the earth. I thoroughly enjoy helping them.

As we are almost back on topic... Nick Cole.
We were neighbours to the Red Devil Racing team for the weekend and i can back up Robert Taylor when he says they are a very tight team, with a very methodical approach to racing.
The smiles on their faces when Nick took the win was the look of a team who had worked long and hard..... and finally cracked it.
First time i have really met them and inparticular Graeme who came and gave my young riders some advise thru the weekend. Most appreciated.
And i can also agree that the wet tyres on the bike were barely marked after the final race.
Well done all involved.
