First video up on Youtube... (as posted on original DB1k thread)
    S44 38.668 E170 50.886
It's Saturday, I was there from about 10:53am through to 11:27am, we've came from Waimate and on our way to Kurow, the same river that caused problems last year.
Same boulders but only half the water, still a bit tricky for some though.

Awesome to see the pics. I can say the weather at Poolburn was no where near as nice when I went through around 3.30pm on the Sunday. The snow had caught up with me again by then.

Numbers and names as best I can remember (some repeats from earlier posts sorry). I'm getting to know quite a few of you all by now but 123 is stretching things a bit for one weekend.

Ah yeah, interesting report but I think you had me confused here with the Skinney Birdman on the silver 650 Transalp.
Got his name right on Adv post though.
I'm not in any of your pics so far.

Yeah, its hard to believe its done and dusted. Still buzzing. If you could email as offered that would be great. (markpool@xtra.co.nz). Someone had stuffed up the settings on the "shared" camera i had so mine were all overexposed. A definite disadvantage of domestic socialism.

That's because you didn't leave Fairlie until about noon.
I'd love a hi-res version of the pic Padmei - PM sent.

The little creek caused a few issues, didn't it? Was there anything particularly snotty about it?

More roundy, slippery, bouldery than any of the other creeks.
