    KTM footpeg?

Having managed to break the right side footpeg on the 640 (don't ask, it's really embarassing...) and finding a new one is $100, does anyone have one lying around? It's the same as my 200 EXC peg so I assume a lot of them are common.

If you have one you don't want or know of any reasonably priced sources I would appreciate knowing about it, if you have a spare peg please say what model it's off so I can check part numbers before relieving you of it.

You can buy an aftermarket replacement pair of wide foot pegs for $79.90. Any shop can get them, they are advertised in the dirt guide.

Ta Noobi, I will have a look at that as a last resort, I would prefer to stick with genuine if I can.

    You're all being very helpfull........not!

Lets just say that rear knobs don't stick very well to melted tar roads on the Tophouse road (just after Porika track, Nelson), so, definately my fault, too fast for the conditions. You have to be really adaptable for the south island, one day snow & sleet, next day melted roads.
If the bars hadn't broken the peg would have probably survived so the damage is bars, brake lever, peg, a fair bit of paintwork and new jacket and pants and one sore foot. It was a bastard riding to the ferry with the throtle not attached to the bars.
