Bullshit. It's done 146 troublefree kays since rebuild. It'll do twice that easily.

    You guys are cruel.

I think we need to test the veracity of Jimmy's claims though.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

LOL... na it was usually only missing a wee section of the piston just below the plug, how ever one of my engines through a leg out of bed, never seen that before.

Yeah ! Im keen ... seriously . Do the spare motors have carbs and magic boxes , or at least a spare of each . Are you able and or willing to get them on some sort of freight to nelson ( that avitar is actually my right leg, and after 2 1/2 years it still aint fixed .... to the point choppin it off is a real possibility ) as I cant drive ( or walk ). I just got a reasonably whole one ( with lower fairings ) off a friend in wellington ( no spark ) and am keen to give it a go .
I have this theory about building a crank assy dumping the heavy middle cyl rod and piston and useing the lighter outer cyl parts and rebuilding the crank so as to get 120 degrees firing intervals ( need 3 middle cyl cdi's and trigger coils ) just like the old DKW's . Starting a project like this sure would be easier with that pile of flower pots you have there on hand.
    Cheers
