I am so sorry for the family. Must feel unbearable right now for them. RIP cam. And to the family, the loss gets easier to deal with in time. It will always hurt, but the load will continue to get lighter and lighter with each day.

When I lost my daughter, I never thought I'd get through it. But you find a way, and you'll be able to get through it.

    So sorry for them.

I will miss Cam's cheek in the pits and his friendly nature as a good all round top bloke. He was always keen to chat and say hi no matter where. I am so sad with this news and I can only imagine how his family must feel. Hell... I feel like I have lost a brother and I only raced with him. Thats how he made me feel...like his bro!

Mate...its such a shame and we all will miss you Cam. To his family, my heart goes out to you...remember you have each other to get through this...and remember you have us too, the extended family. RIP #26...you will never be forgotten!

    Marcus

Tough as it all may be Cam fought this but couldn't win. Even if he had won the battle to stay alive given the state of his known injuries, far less the unknown ones, his life and those close to him probably wouldn't have been much.
Don't question his choice to race bikes either. Cam and the whole Jones family had gained a lot from that and earned a lot of respect and friends too along the way; true it dealt this to them but look also at those who just a week earlier had gone for a peaceful balloon ride at Carterton and see how that puts a moment like this into perspective.
True this is a cruel blow but it's now time to look at what Cam and the Jones means to us and enjoy that bit and be thankful that despite todays passing there is now no uncertainty in what his future may have held.
I'll be having a beer for you tonight little buddy, and I've had a tear in my eye today for ya too.

Well said Syda, I had a composition running wildly around me head along the same lines however would not have nailed it down as you have. I would also just like to say a huge thank you to all that have viewed and commented, and those yet to comment the way you have all respected this thread is a credit to each and every one of you and shows much respect for Cam. Your comments of love, support and prays have been a comfort to the family.
Your picture's in my wallet and I'm sitting on it. And if that isn't love, I don't know what is
