    Dan Stauffer, King of Paeroa!

3 from 3! No surprises there then. To all those who thought he was lucky at Wanganui,,,,, WTF!

Obviously his supposedly inferior suspension was more than adequate..

Yep i think the title says it all, he totally dominated the races and was simply miles ahead of the rest.

Was another awesome day at Paeroa but I have to say that the races are starting to become like processions - still love it though

So who of the regular fast riders wasnt there? I think it was a very long list.

Good on Dan though, he will ride the wheels off anything and is prepared to stick his kneck out, warts and all.

Agree to some degree, about the procession. But I loved the Post Classic races,x2. Bloody good duelling up front by the Kawasaki and the Ducati....

Mods will you please remove this offensive post. I did not say that with the offensive addition and this has crossed a line of unacceptable forum etiquette.

Probably for most forums you would be right, but it is fairly standard for this one

So what fast guys werent there then
    Stroud
    Bugden
    Shirriffs
    Choppa
Fuck I could just about win it if all those guys stayed at home

I reckon I'd give you a good run for your money. Heh.

Has Bugden ever raced at Wanganui or Paeroa?

Maybe, but as a generalisation I dont think in any form of communication that its acceptable to either deliberately misquote someone or to embellish / modify in some way that can provoke offence, etc....

One year ago, he got taken out by another rider who had overcooked it and spent more than a few weeks in hospital with broken this and that. Much like Stroud and Shirriffs ( also Choppa and Nick, John Ross ) he is looking at the bigger picture of not risking injury so close to the last two rounds of the National road race champs . Most of these guys are at the sharp end points wise and by and large now regard street racing as too risky and dangerous. That is the stark reality.

Fair call also, they were bloody quick those two as was Glenn Williams Bimota. Dan the Man's R1 though was something else.

Sean Donnelly on the GPZ was complaining about the 60kg advantage of the Ducati! They have been tussling with each other for a while and the Duc has a slight power to weight advantage and being lighter could transition quicker through the "S" than Sean could. Sean saw a way through and got by but then the Duc rider, I forgot his name, closed Sean out next time around. If anyone can suggest how Sean can shave any more kilos off the bike I'm sure he'd be interested. Next step is to ditch the starter which some others have done.
