Nice that your were thinking that way, appreciate the gesture. I roped Cruza into it few days ago and before he could change his mind I had the bike in his garage lol nah the plan was to get it sweet for March ride. Might enter her in the classic comp..since she is over 20 yrs old! myself too lol

    cruza
Engine all fixed, serviced and test run, just waiting on sprockets and oil filter (ordered fri) they bit odd ball and not normally stocked. tyres been put aside, may do them sunday.

party to sort next weekend I believe sir.......
Awesome, thanks matey, I owe you big time!...... now what is this about a party?

    Subike

so what day are you planning on going down Jen?
and who you going to travel with?

oh yes today was such an great day for a ride, akaroa, to port levy, back to the tube, then sumner, across to brooklands, back home, nearly got me front tyre scrubbed in.
Definitely going down on Friday with plenty of time to battle the tents at the other end and stop for a picture along the way, staying two nights! Maybe three even as I've got no work on Monday! (recovery time). Not sure what time leaving but was hoping there would be a group, Neels, Cruza, yourself, Peetey, Em, ...actually not sure who all is going...

rider slides along the track just as good as a kawasaki - leathers did their job so just some fairly tender bits.

Glad to hear you are ok, a bike is replaceable, a human isn't!

    Christchurch Wednesday Maintenance Evenings

Wayne (Wofman) has very kindly consented to allow us to run the WMEs again. A very big to Wayne.

At this stage we are looking at the first Wednesday of each month starting in May. 2nd May after 6pm Gloucester Motors corner of Gloucester St and Fitzgerald Ave.

Simple things such as oil changes, valve clearances, the lots of little small things which can mean the difference between a good ride and being stopped on the side of the road.

If you have anything that you would like covered please PM Wayne or me and we will try to oblige. Bearing in mind that we will be limited to an hour or so each night.

I will not start a new thread for the WME but will continue to use this one.

And please support Wayne at Gloucester Motors for your WOFs and vehicle maintenance, he is one of us!!!!
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

Ah shit, that's no good. Hope you get her fixed up ok soon.

I don't think you have encouraged me to give track days a go. At least you still get insurance on the road...

Doesn't look much good for tomorrow, WNR = Wednesday No Ride.

BTW, if you reread your post you said you wanted to be a "pavilion", that made the mind boggle lol., maybe the replacement for Jade stadium??
