    And that's actually a bit light - the factory 917/30 that Mark Donahue famously raced in the '73 Can-Am series actually developed between 1100 & 1500hp (at full boost, controllable from the cabin) and was considered to be one of the most powerful racing cars ever developed as well as being one of the most dominant. Basically killed by the mid '70's fuel crisis.

    I've got a mate that bought a Porsche , it turned him in to an instant wanker, and since then he's bought another and become and Auckland wanker , 1in chch / 1 in alk

    Great cars, but it's the tosser quotent that turns me off them ultimately. Mind you that doesn't really apply to the race cars so much, it's a label that seems to have stuck mostly with 911 drivers.
