I did... took it to work... only to have another guy "sorry didn't see you" smack into the side of me... dented his car, bruised my hand/knuckles, but I kept my baby upright! Thank god for crash knobs and hinged rearview mirrors! The ironic thing is that on the way to work i had the thought "the last time I rode in jeans and street shoes my bike got written off"... so another jackass situation! but he was rather cute! lol

So you rode on your newly returned precious and got swiped by some muppet who claimed SMIDSY? That blows, but good skills on staying right side up!

And you were wearing jeans, tsk tsk - I'd just like to point out here that you've given me an ATGATT-holier-than-thou telling off for wearing jeans, more than once!

Any bike of choice is welcome. Sometimes there are many Hornets and other times... none at all.

Meeting place : Outside Auckland Public Library, Lorne Street, Auckland city.
Meeting time: 630pm. Usually everyone arranges to arrive between 6pm and 630pm to have a wee chat and then we all head off at 630pm. If someone is running late we do our best to meet-up with them later.

Some nights we head off and get a meal first, other times we ride for a bit then a meal and then more riding, other times the destination is also where we have a meal. Rides typically finish at round 11pm.

Ride goes ahead in most weather. Best to keep an eye on this forums on Mondays and see what the plan is. Numbers attending can vary from a couple of riders to maybe about 8 max.

    Swarming tonight? ... ... ... ...

I gather Toto and Gremlin are off on an adventure causing havoc in the South Island, and Grave Digger is away overseas.
