All you need to do is enter the URL into the proxy server and you're away laughing. If for some reason that doesn't work then you can try http://www.publicproxyservers.com/proxy/list1.html and click on any of the proxy servers. If you can figure out how to create a post on KB then you'll have no problem using a proxy.

Nothing pisses IT staff off more than if you beat them at their own game. Your work probably doesn't have the resources to monitor the web surfing habits of every employee anyway so surf away and you probably won't get caught unless the boss walks in on you browsing zee interwebs.

It sounds like they have decided to end things - she says in the Q&A that she gave him the ultimatum to sell the gear or boat and he chose gear as he could buy it back slowly, much easier than replacing a boat.
She also stated she has it in writing and he will be there when the gear is collected.
So to me it reads that they've sorted things out and it's a good way to split the assets.

If it were me and I was given a similar ultimatum (no matter why) I'd probably choose the same. Sell the small, keep the big.
