Same engine format as the CBR400 aero(which is also an Import) which I rebuilt last year,Only problem I had with sourcing parts was that coolent hoses are a deleted item,so ended up making some
But if its a steeping stone bike,it would be ideal
Just remember the older the bike, harder it can be to get some part's....
Yes indeed, that is at the back of my mind all the time...![]()
Yep - good bikes.
CBR400/Hornet400 motor in a comfy frame
Reactor Online. Sensors Online. Weapons Online. All Systems Nominal.
My mate had one. Dropped it and smashed the front end up pretty bad. Wonder if this is the same one.
Who knows? Not too many of them here in NZ...
I've sat on a CB400 before and they are too small for me. This any different or same?
Completely different bike to the CB400.
IMHO the only thing it offers over a CB400 is the gear driven cams.
I paid $1300 for my CB400 in 2010, sold it in far better nick for $1800.
But, if you felt the CB400 was too small, I doubt you'd like the CB-1.
The CB4 is a great commuter, riding position is just a bit wrong though for open road (for me) and I got pinched nerves in my wrists, knees were seizing up and back pain.
After 70-80km...
If there are any around! None for sale in Auckland anyway...
NZspokes has a GPZ400, is that similar? I couldn't sit on his without getting my knees around my ears. Well, slight exaggeration but...
Oh yeah! But more than I need or want and afford...
