    Braver then me

Saw this today at the intersection of Fort and Commerce st's in Downtown auckland.

I mean, sure why not at a pub in a small town but downtown auckland in a crappy outdoor parking area?

Owner is a trusting soul. Or maybe the helmet doesn't fit well and is well insured...

I agree wholeheartedly. Wouldn't been seen dead with touring tyres on an R6.

I have done that very thing...parked the bike at an Albany mall, went into a shop, bought something after about 15 mins, came out, walked over to the bike and there was my helmet, sitting on the seat where I had left it.

I've seen worse - rider left his key in the ignition at the carpark at the bottom of Haywards hill.

They didn't really want it stolen as it had a disc lock on the front wheel.

Tried to make contact via rego number and Police to no avail.

Took key out and attached it to his disc lock - seemed the best place to leave it for them.

unless you lifted the helmet you probably cant be sure, I can put my helmet on the R1 like that, it appears to be just sitting there, but its locked to the underneath of the pillion seat
