I reckon it's worth paying $7 if ya get well looked after.

ok new sporty doesnt have the extras but its still attractive to own a fresh one.
    .
I always thought "buy from a dealer so I can pay it off", but you can get finance on anything. Dave from KTL will finance you for private purchases if you meet the criteria - he is a finance guy. We are selling a bike on trade me, and anyone wanting finance, just calls him.
Easy as, you can still buy privately but pay it off if you don't have the cash.

Yep sorry Nzpure but this really is a realistic price.
Ok so its got some nice extras but at the end of the day its only a 4 speed gear box, I wouldn't even bother with a 4 speed. I had a 92 hugger that was a 5 speed and I always thought it needed a 6th gear!

Its got some nice extras but also the mileage? Its not high ...but I wouldn't call it low either. 17500miles? Thats 28,000kms.

My 95 1200 sporty only got 8k when it was 5 years old with only 20,000km on the clock and it had ALL the extras plus a limited edition factory paint scheme.

I have to accept the same thing with my custom Buell, just cos its cost $xxx doesn't mean its worth that much to sell or insure.

That said, its never getting sold!

Was hopeing for around $7500 so i'll try for that first but its good to get some opinions. keeping in mind that its kitted to 1200 (pistons and rod, rebore etc maybe even crank? not sure what the kit entail)s, Was done by previous owner i believe(has only done about 4,000 miles since the kit). I have ridden a 1200 sporty and they have nowhere near the get and go this thing has. Either way i'm not racing out the door to sell it just yet i dont even have it on tardme, So i can wait a little.
Mind you i had to get it valued for insurance and they valued it at 10k im better off to have a crash!
