Dang, it's good to own MY bike

last four years "the company" has has a few bikes. late model super bikes, trail bikes, tourers. Basicly all types of bikes.
The trouble is they were all just that "company" bikes. Im always mindfull they have to stay clean and polished and sitting ready for sale during the day.
Finally I have again got a bike again that is ALL MINE. I diddn't want anything flash harry or crotch rocketish.
I diddn't want an uber tourer that takes 3 guys to pick up. I diddn't want fast or snappy handling because I know I'll want to try to find the bikes limits.
So anyhoo I'm now the proud owner of Dilligaf the VX800. He probably has the very WORST paint job known to mankind on his tank.
He's got "character marks' all over him. He belches and farts when he's cold. he's got a bar fairing pinched from gosh only knows what.He kinda has the attitude "what--Yea so?"
BY gosh its an utter hoot to ride. I can't remember the last time I had such a ball riding a motorbike.
I'm justifying the bike because its so much quicker in traffic going to pick up parts. Trouble is so far its taking an hour each trip longer. -Bugger that aye?

Nope matey you remember correctly. That bike ticked all the boxes "on paper" Trouble is it was just well um -BORING.
It does everything that Dillygaf does but its got no personality. I almost had to push the starter button to see if the sewing machine was running.
