    Webbs motorcycle auction 31st March, Auckland

    Anyone going to this?

    I've been to the last few, always some interesting machines to look at (they still haven't topped the one where they had a Lola T165 running a 462ci Chevy and a one-off Guerney Indy car - the Lola had straight-through racing mufflers, it got started up and almost took out a window).

    The Bultaco looks awesome, and the Hyde Harrier would be cool to see in the flesh.

    I will be going as my Dad has his bike for sale in the auction.... shame really, the old man feels that he needs a lighter bike.

    Not sure, but I don't see the point to be honest - it's a 250cc two-stroke factory race bike, I bet it's a handful enough on a closed circuit.

    My Dad is still mourning the loss of his Bultaco - I hope he doesn't bid on this one Cos my parents needs more cars/bikes they don't use...
