For some reason I can't bring myself to ride one. I just find them mildly repulsive. (Which does of course beat the hell out of 'boring'.)

Yeah i find that having less can make you feel like your earning a good ride without being to silly. The enjoyment at 100 is the same as ultra sport riden at 150.It may be im just a little older now LOL.I liked my t100 when i had that but it just wasnt big enough for 2 up.

if ever I could have one back it would be the bmwr1200s

Mmm. I have no idea exactly what it'll be, but I know that one day I'll own a BMW R-something.

If you see a 1200s take one for a ride.If your not after excess of 120hp its bike perfection.

I might just pop a few photos of my GSX1400 in here at this time, if that's OK by everyone...

Been on my watch list for a while.

A friend's just acquired one, must bludge a ride...

Edit: MT01's also on the list.

looks good .Im into the muscle looking bikes nowdays.Have only seen the blue white ones.Is the black common?

i should get shots of mine now the trailers off and the carbon bits are on.theres a few bits on the mt01 that needed replaced with carbon to get rid of the excess ally look. The mirrors are next to go.The oem look very cheap.my bike was a mixture of hot and not so good in some areas.

Nothing against YOUR MT-01, mossy... but I rode a second hand example here in NP on behalf of a mate who was interested in it to buy. I found the particular one that I rode to be possibly the most underwhelming bike I have ridden.

whats his impression like.i just found it to handle perfectly yet not kill the body.they create alot of interest everywhere you go.

PS pick the bmw unless your happy with all torque and less handling

One of the biggest things is the tyres on it.Whole bike transforms.I found it was a bike that took a while to trust.most bikes I have owned felt like well worn gloves after a few blocks.the mt felt like a set of new gloves 2 sizes to small for several weeks.

PS whats NP stand for.Maybe im having brain fade its prob obvious

Duno yet, haven't caught up since he got it. In some ways I don't like the boxers, they feel a bit flat, even while the clock's ramping up nicely. But I'd like to feel one in S trim.

The 1200s is up 35hp on the 1100 and down 30kg of weight. Its a different bike with claimed 127hp.Sure its not inline 4 power but its not a lazy motor like the others.they had(not sure if still do)a boxer cup in europe racing them.48degree lean angle before scraping tappet covers i think from memory.Grab his and ride it.Maybe its not your thing but i loved it and think idd run faster lap times on it than my old race bike if fear of dropping it wasnt a issue.

    New Plymouth.
The one I rode had a few mods on it. It wouldn't idle, vibrated like a bastard. I actually WANTED to like it! Maybe I should try another some time.
