There's the rub - I love the look of it ... but the 2 VFR800's I owned were ho hum ... not sure if that's a VFR thing or a Honda thing.

    Yup.

They were probably sold for similar money when they were new, but that was a while ago.

    Here's a tidy CB1000 at a dealer asking $4k. I haven't seen a GSX14 for under $6k that didn't look abused.
That bike belonged to Enzo on here and the speed limiter is removed, I also have the matching left hand side can from a k7 GSX-R1000 to go with that one
It sounds rather nice when you give 'er a handful.
He said it went fairly well, it's a heavy fucker though.
I'd be tempted at that money.

Except I just saw that 1300 mister Deuce posted...fuck the 1000. Much better bike, much better deal.

    Yeah, you won't like a CB1000 then...

Looks very nice to me. I'd just insist on him giving you a better set of cans.

Replaced coz the old ones got spilled on? Who cares, it's a set of cans. As I said for the sake of the credit card, I would.

He didn't have it long at all, traded up to a 929 (I think) Blade.
It was a rather tidy looking machine and seemed quite healthy sounding.

I think the can was replaced because the stock on sounded like poo, that Gixxer item has been debaffled (the one I got from him hasn't and looks brand new) but it's not really loud at all.
I'd suggest you go have a look at it, it's a nice bike (apart from weighing more than a moon)
