I'm waiting on a response to an email I sent yesterday about getting a jacket swapped for a smaller size. Going by measurements it should fit, but it definitly doesn't. Its a good two sizes too big so the elbow protection wouldn't do its job should I come off.

I purchased some $75 gloves from 1Tonne. After a year of daily use, a few seams have given up the ghost a little, but not badly, should last for another year or so, happy with that. Will provide feedback on some areas that could be strengthened though when I do, around the wrist and on the Index Fingers.

Maybe luck of the draw, but have you had any Qmoto gear? My vengeance jacket is 3 years old and zero defects with daily commuting use and one crash (100% protection, no injuries and no tearing or seam bursting). I got it on sale for $300 new - no way anyone else could match that at the time.

I have a Qmoto jacket-probably 4plus years old.has had considerable use. Lacks any fashion or style whatsoever, but you cant ignore the quality or durability[or value at the time]

Ive had qmoto gear fall apart within 8 months of general use (used 3 times a week or so)
im sure others have had a good result to counter mine, and that of my friends whose gear from QM also fell apart

realistically, both 1tonne and qmoto offer basically the same thing at the same prices - its just that certain egos and opinions will go to painful lengths to tell you otherwise.
Neither of them are top quality, or even particularly close to it, both offer decent gear at affordable prices.

    Thumbs up

I've got some gloves and some boots from 1 tonne.

I found them to provide excellent service quick delivery and not had a single problem with my gear and found them to be a good price
I confess to know everything there is to know about absolutely nothing at all!!!

    Hey I resemble that comment....

Each to his or her own. I've had gear a plenty; alpine stars, spidi, revit, shift and latest is qmoto striker. Seems pretty good to me and makes me look a bit like Rinzier from Tron. Cool.

This, plus his knob end online behaviour (which we haven't seen in this thread so far ), plus the nighmare customer service horror stories have all prohibited any purchase in my case.

I'd sooner ride around bollock naked than spend a cent with Qmoto.

Nice how the thread starts off congratulating one company and within eight posts is slagging off another.

For the record, my Rev-it gloves are in the 'would never buy again' category while my Belstaff ones are great.

I've only just come back to kb so don't know about Quasi's online persona but in person seemed like a very genuine guy to me. Customer service was excellent in my case, in fact he bought several sets of leather to my house so I could try.

A bit of shuffling organising a time to meet cause we both have other commitments. Always answered SMS so no drama talking to the bloke.

In short, good guy, good service, good product. Should also mention I am fortunate not to be overly price driven. I like a bargain but that was not what I was after in this case.

Anyway nice day, I'm off for naked ride shortly.

+1 on that. I would never buy Revit stuff again.

Would love some Handroids though, but only because they look cool.

I got my summer gloves from Spectrum Motorcycles and they are mint, unbranded but I would buy them again.

I dont think I have ever owned a pair of Revit gloves, well just the one (H20s) but wore them once/twice maybe?..didn't like them.
I wore my Shift pair through to the palm skin...now wearing a gifted pair of Held gloves and warmer Spkye when it suits.
I had some Quasi gloves years ago...really good in the rain (better than the Shift pair) but just to damn stiff so sold them.
I am waiting on a new pair of Rukka gloves from over seas.

Seams have given up a little? If you've got some seams that are opening up with everyday use, how do you think they'll handle an off?

He might've gained a sliver of self awareness as to what he was doing, or maybe MT banned him for his own good. Either way, he hasn't been on since he really went postal.

    It was a good thread.
