really common sence answer is open face helmet protects your brain just as well and full . just a choice you may get facial injuries with
open but you face is still, that be open to debate , really its just a choice what you prefer to use . open face are fine .
full you got more wind protection . you need peek to keep rain from your eyes with open face, but seeing as there still on market
oh ps right know love to tear few users on here limb from limb ep that ass hole blackdog
Even if we ignore the fact that a full helmet protects your pretty face, they are also stronger than your typical Harley Riders helmet, meaning when you head hits the ground at 50 km/hr, its better protected than the plastic hats that so many of you love to wear.
And the argument about being able to resucitate you without removing your helmet is a stupid one, if anyone who knows first aid comes to your rescue, part of their training includes dealing with bikers. If they dont know how to remove your helmut safely, chances are they dont really know how to save your life either.
I'd never wear an open face for normal road riding.
When I was working for Aus Post they gave us Nolan open face helmets (the same one as the Nolan in the video, that's actually where I did my training to get the job). That was fine for doing 10k on the footpath while delivering and a full face would have been far too hot for 3-5 hours going no faster than 10k, but I felt a bit uncomfortable when it came to doing 70-80k to and from the first delivery point.
On the plus side, with he open face it meant I could have a smoke while delivering mail, couldn't do that with a full face.
Never in the field of human conflict has so much been owed to so few by so many cheese eating surrender monkeys.
(Winston Churchill on the French.)
I like my open face helmets, but only for shorter, slower rides.
Open face helmets are for Harley riding faggots who try to make up for their small dick by riding a loud, heavy and poorly engineered excuse for a motorcycle.
lol do you not like harleys or something smokeu.
No, I don't like those fags.

We use both. Open face for pootling down to the shop and about the village for coffee etc. Fullface for open road.
While an open face does leave you more exposed if you have an accident its not going to contribute to an accident either. Either way the actions and attitudes of the rider are more significant by a country mile. In my case I get better peripheral vision from my open face as well.
