Awesome. We should get away from NP about 9. That should get us to Kawhia between 12 and 1pm. Hmmm, Kawhia fish and chips for lunch or Cafe. Decisions

    Red face

I would love to be there to celebrate with you, but I'll be flying out that weekend.

So, I wish you many happy returns of the day and hope the sun shines for your ride

    Have a great weekend!

Do you have a ride plan formulated for the way up yet Phil, i would be quite keen to meet up in Ohura and ride waitewhena road going north then pomerangi rd ( havent ridden that one for a while ) down to marakopa........................................ We could possibly catch up with Clint and Rosie at Pio Pio
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time

Hi Mark. In previous years we have just followed the road from Awakino up the coast. By the time we have lunch stops it ends up an all day exercise. I'm not sure how many coming with from NP yet. A few have other things on. If its only a few of us we may be able to come up to Piopio and catch up there. Depends on the weather a bit. If its a day like today then might be up for a bit more. If its pissing down then

Good call Phil. We'll have a look at the forecast in a couple of days & make a plan, if it's a nice day we'll try & join you early on & take in a good section of the coast road.

    Cheers
    Clint

Cool. The numbers coming from NP are getting less each day ( Nobby No Mates) So, we could be up for a bit more of a ride
Hey Mark, what time you reckon you would be in Ohura ?

I am going to have to be on the maybe list for catching up in Raglan, my bike is in waaaaayyyy to many bits (not to mention strung up like a freshly killed boar in my garage) to be confident in my abiliy to re-assemble and ride down on Sat.
But all going well I shall be able to make it down late afternoon/early evening.

Could be in Ohura at 10.30am, as long as its not pissing down that is

If that black stuff is wet i prefer as much gravel as i can get.

We have the making's of a plan. We can get to Ohura in about an hour and a half. So could do 10.30
Piopio for lunch, based on a fine (ish) day.

We will let you come in the car. So long as you park it down the road and wear your riding gear
