I'll be honest, the last 4 days have sucked so bad. Combine withdrawl, with lack of sleep and arsehole customers. Jesus christ.

God this had better get easier. I'm too stubborn to do anything else.

It does get easier as time goes on, so keep it up. Also, a decent workout is a good way to reset stress levels back to baseline I've found; and energy expended might help you sleep better too?

Reality is only an illusion caused by a lack of alcohol in the blood.

At least use something directly alcohol related!

Genesis 19:32 "Let’s get our father to drink wine and then sleep with him and preserve our family line through our father.33 That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and slept with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up."

Genesis 1:12 "And the earth brought forth the green herb, and such as yieldeth seed according to its kind, and the tree that beareth fruit having seed each one according to its kind. And God saw that it was good"

Gay marriage is less sinful than not lighting up. God said weed is good.

Replace hops and barley with the green herb. God says so.

1 Corinthians 13:1 ........ I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

On a serious note, I'm with Paul in NZ on the exercise helping to stay off booze thing.

I've been nigh on completely dry for three weeks now, solely because I decided to do the Wellington half marathon on 26 June and this year I don't want to be slow.

And it's just not possible to drop fat and get fast while drinking every day.

I find the only lasting downside to sobriety, now that the withdrawal's over, is increased boredom and reduced patience with the world. Not being drunk makes the rest of humanity harder to tolerate.

Which green herb would that be, hemlock, deadly nightshade, or one of the thousands of others that will end you?

What does this Jesus Christ character ride? is he on KB?

It will get easier, the customers will get no better but your tolerance levels will rise .... Oh hold on, ginger, ummm scrub that bit about tolerance

Less drink = more money for petrol + more sober time + less hangover times = more riding opportunities

Yep, exercise is the key. Healthy body healthy mind. As for being bored, there are so many things to do on this planet, how can anyone possibly get bored.
