Why not just take some powerful opiates, then go for a ride straight after? It must be double the fun, surely?

And with a 17 litre tank, I stop more often than Anne does, which is complete turn around.
I got around 400kms on my 250cc, so does that mean if/when I upgrade, fuel consumption is gonna suck?

Not at all...my 1300 was way better on the fuel than my current bike...as was the 955i before that.

Scratch that, my calculations were a bit out, bike does 20+Km/L. (17L Tank)
    The specs say...16.9 km/l.

Hey, you should grab a nice thousand. They get awesome economy. You get, like, 700 kilometres from a tank, more if you thrash it really hard. Also, tires last forever - and the nice people at Pirelli and Metzler send you free ones because they don't want the rubber to perish of old age.

What is written in the paragraph above may not be true.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.
