Put me down for one to Pete.

Always done my dirt tyres but left the road tyres to a shop as not wanting to risk damaging the rim but at $25 a pop i'm gonna do them myself now and this tool looks the biz.

I wonder if making the tip out of an appropriately shaped chunk of plastic would be a good mod for road wheels, less chance of scratching the paint?

if I purchased one, I would melt some rubber or plastic around the tip to save the rims myself, no biggy, would only take five minutes.

Shrek doesn't need to carry one of them, he carries a junkmanjoe, or a TrailsRider, or a Transalper, or a Monsterman, or a ADVGD

fuck that, all the time to get the kit out, (which will be in the pannier trapped between the bike and the ground anyway) then hook it all up and get it set up etc, and then it looked like it still took him a fair chunk of energy to get it upright.
just pick the bloody thing up and carry on!
