    "Rocket" Ron Kirkman IIR. Had a Blackbird motor, may have been Supercharged. I do know that it was originally 4wd but he could not change gear through corners because of the G's, he struggled to get a quick shifter so reverted to 2wd. Last I saw of him was at the Woodhill 1000 racing a Polaris cut cat thingy, placed well too. Legend.

    He would be well into his 70s now

    I think it was last year he raced Woodhill. Met him a couple of times, he has great stories, more like 17 attitude wise.
