One of the best bikes I've owned

Had a 1998 Bandit 1200. It was awsome on the road and the track!

    Interesting info on the lights

    High beam = 9005
    Low beam = 9006

Don't forget, the beam is adjustable. Not just the pattern placement either. You can adjust the canister back and forth to accomodate most bulbs. Since you are experiencing poor light output, you might want to try making adjustments to the canister placement.

To clarify a little, the headlight adjustment bolts found in the owners manual are the ones I'm talking about. Each canister has 3 adjustment nuts. The book says to use 2, but if you turn them all equally, you can move the focus or gain more room for the bulbs.

Generally it is on the top of the airbox and is able to be seen with the seat removed. I cant remember the size but 30-40mm I think.
It is one of the first things that is done to help the engine breathe so it will be a dead giveaway for mods/jetting.

Had a look and nothing. The jet kits seem to come with allen head screws for the float bowls also which mine doesnt have. Ive found a stage 1 kit in aussie so will head down that path. Not intrested in max power output on this one. Stage one is just a tidy up on the stock settings and no airbox mods.

The motors are very cool, huge difference to my SV. B12's are quite nimble bikes for the size too !

Nice one..... I've been on the lookout for some of those crash bars.

I may put some highway pegs on them. Will help with the hips.

    Every 6 months or 5,000km's.
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
