    Race numbers?

Just had a look at the new regulations reguarding race numbers for pre 89 classes.

I have a 400 4 cylinder so am in f3 but am confused on what coluor i'm supposed to have now.
I have yellow background at with black numbers at the moment and the new reg's say for f3 black but is that the number or backing?.

If its the number thats black thats fine but what colour is the backing to be?.
If its the backing to be black what coluor is the number to be?.

backing colour changes for cc sizing black back ground means f3, yellow back ground f2 and red being f1, helps for the manual side of lap counting if ever needed which is my understanding.
F1 and f3 are white numbers and f2 black numbers

I always thought, Black F3 (white number), Yellow F2 (black number), White F1 (Black number).

Yer its a bugger but good on them for making 3 classes out of the 89's insteed of 2 with the 6 hundies against the 4 hundies gives a fat bastard a bit better chance

Yeah, I don't mind. I think I re did the number about 3 times last year to get the right size, colour etc. Anyway, white on black looks cooler

Have to agree Kiwi cowboy, more stock 400's getting back into it, the racing is close and competitive and exiting again. Also affordable without spending mega bucks on a stocker 400, and a shit load of fun. Now got two 400s with one as a Racebike and the other as a very tidy doner bike all for under $4000.00. One set slicks a year, entries and fuel thats all it costs.
