Does this mean hoiking a big green hocker into a Ranchero driver's face isn't assault? I would have thought it would have been assault with a biological weapon of mass infection.

    Just hoping For future use.

Actually be a bit awkward for me as I have a full face helmet and not one with the flip front. But I could have carried used tissues

Once society stops accepting this blatant display of poor driving I won't need to report them, will I?

*sits back for someone to think of a clever idea why NOT running a red light is hard...*
    And good on ya.
I would to, given the chance, we have two compulary stop signs here that mean absolutely nothing to most.
The offenders will often look you in the eye as they just, drive on through...one even stopped halfway across one morning to let me drive around him. That was considerate.

fwiw, the gopro fish eye tends to make things look a bit further away than they really are. We were both moving and I could have touched his ranchero when he swerved. As in... had he been a second faster with his swerve, he'd have got me.

You run red light, he drives a bit close to you... Even I can tell who the illegal one was.

Probably should get that fixed, the flashy lights are so blinding it's impossible to correctly perceive distance to the cyclist (a fixed light is much better for distance perception).

So sure you're gonna be noticed with the big flashing fucker, but nobody's gonna be able to work out where the fuck you are at any point in time. He probably thought he was well past ya.

Cant see the video, IT block You tube but from the description and this is a wild stab in the dark here..........

If you hadnt run the red light this thread wouldn't exsist.

So the moral of this story is stop pissing other road users off by thinking the road rules dont apply to you.

On my commute I see time and again cyclists running red lights jumping on pavements to avoid red lights, even a group riding in a perceved peloton all lycra'd up in 2,3,4 or more abreast in rush hour traffic ffs

You'd think with the ACC top ups we pay that they would throw the cyclist privilege in for free!
