    Tarawera 100 2012

    Who,s riding the Tarawera this year? There is now a novice class, 2 laps no prizes tho.

    was thinking about racing it but no where near fit enough to hang onto a 450 for 4 and a half hours just yet, may still try to find a smaller bike to do it on,

    You could borrow the GF's CRF150f if you want, but I have to warn you, when both horsepower kick in, it's quite a handful...

    Took about 0.5 seconds for my goggles to get covered in mud last year, and there is always ALWAYS some one who crashes in that drain on the start. Hopefuly they put hay bales around the water troughs too or atleast mark them...

    Weather a bit better this year should be drier.
    Not riding again so I'll bring my video cam and see if I can get some action onto youtube ( that was my vid taken last year above )

    im not old enough for vets (just under) and they still do 4 laps,

    Super Vets do 3 laps but you need to be 40
