Credit card statement says the helmet cost me $282.92.
I gave it a run today for an hour or so....very quiet and a good fit and no headache.
I must add though...my riding was 50% crap...must get out again over the weekend at some stage and tidy that up.

Ordered late on 22 Jan (a Sunday evening), the boots just arrived today... what's that? 10 days? Not counting they are behind us and the package leapt through time, and the order was seen on a Sunday, so only processed the following week.

Now I get to wear them around with the hope I wear them in, in the next couple of weeks.

I have done it again Jacket this time a leather one that no one in NZ has in stock
And with the exchange rate so good it was only $444 NZ

If we had more selection here I would use the local shops to buy stuff
But almost every leather jacket in NZ is black ?????

Good stuff, a sudden jump in orders coming from NZ must be noticeable.

There are so many gloves to choose from on the site, I was looking at a pair of Rukka R-Stars but decided to stick to the brand I am happy with.
    The Rukka glove...http://www.fc-moto.de/WebRoot/FCMoto...ar-Glove-2.jpg

Just bought in a pair of Sidi Vortice boots value $439 + $33 shipping. Got held up at customs. Bill from customs - GST $65.85 + miscellaneous costs = $103.92 total. $575.92 total cost for the boots.

My advice is to pay in obscure currency at Fc-moto's end - there are other options to NZD. I'd wager it would not be stopped had I paid in Brazilian Real for example.

Fc-moto invoice in the currency chosen.

No... they simply check. If your package is over NZ$400 including shipping, there is a chance you will be pulled up for it. If you don't factor in these extra charges, it's your problem.

I say a chance, because sometimes it comes through easy as. I expect it to be held for GST payment though.

If you are invoiced in a foreign currency it means checking exchange rates, and if you land close to the $400 threshold I'd wager there's a greater chance of nothing being detained. Certainly a greater chance than seeing an invoice in NZD. Shipping cost is irrelevant.
