I think its pretty cool the Moto3 bikes are reaching 230km/hr, that's 143mph at Mugello in practice.

Lorenzo is looking pretty much untouchable so far.

here is another example of the complexities of motogp....stoner and pedros were untouchable in germany........now in italy we have ped, lorenso and barbera on the front of the grid with stoner 5th....spies again slower then the satalite guys and lorenzo with an engine problem.....probably just more proof QP means fuck all......a bit like SBK and superpole.....how many races has the kawasaki gone on to win?.....how stink will rossi and hayden feel with barbera up there.....who will bet against stoner being there or there abouts in the race..

Horhay looked concerned after qualifying 2nd.Not happy.
I Hope this title isn't affected by the 6 engine rule, that would suck.
QP gives Barbera bragging rights and to some extent Hayden but I'm sure Rossi looks at the much bigger picture and will finish in front of them come race day. The Ducs' have a lot of top end but little else and it shows here.

Hayden not so much. He's not a full second slower than him as Rossi is. It's massively important to have the setup spot on round this place. If Stoner can't get it right he'll get roosted.

Yes the engine rule is as damaging to MotoGP as it is to Formula 1. When Formula 1 engines were unreliable and kept blowing up it added another dimension. Now they are boringly reliable, in relative terms.

Seems Horhay's problem was electrical and has been fixed.

Crutchlow is getting a bit of a towelling on a site populated with his own countrymen. Seems they reckon he should let his riding do the talking instead of beating his gums. Hmmmmm

Not wrong there. That guys mouth can get him in a lot of trouble. I totally went off him when he recently said that he wants to be in another team as there's nothing for him at Tech 3. Not just arrogant (which I always got over) but very ungrateful as well. It's true that the factory riders have the best shot at winning the championship but that's just downright ungrateful.

    Friday round up

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
