I know Jorge is a great motorbike racer and all, but what really impresses me is this.

Who said white men...oh never mind.

Yeah great balance on the handrail. As for the chicks well they've gone for austerity to keep the Krauts happy.

As for your boy crasher, has he retired already? I said a while back he should have retired as soon as he earned that No 1 plate and went out on top. Is he going to pull the points back on george?
    Cheers

Doesn't look like a bloke that's given up to me Merv. He just ain't good enough right now to beat Lorenzo. Big points buffer now. His silly mistake in Germany may well haunt him for the rest of the year. I would think he will do the bizz at Laguna Seca though.

I reckon Casey will either win or bin at Laguna (pity the TAB don't do a multi bet on that).

He certainly seems to go well there. Mind you...Pedro does too. But Lorenzo is going well everywhere.

Certainly seems that Yamaha have pulled finger too and given him a competitive bike. When did we last see the Yamaha match the Honda for top speed (in this case beat it according to the practice figures), and still retain the good handling they have had for a while?
    Cheers

Good to see Rossi climb to 5th as predicted by JB in spite of QP position.
Horhay, 'the black Mamba' was in serious mood.

Would you go back K14 ? Trains work out ?
Yeah there was so much room on the embankments you could move around whenever you liked. Also the crowd didn't really even go crazy when Iannone won the moto2 race. Just polite clapping and a few cheers. Quite a bit more low key than I was expecting. I'd go back but only if they do something to make the races more interesting cause currently it isn't, it's just 20 guys riding around behind one another for 45 mins. Yeah trains and transport worked sweet. The best part was going down onto the start/finish line to watch the prize giving. All the italians had their bikes doing burnouts on the limiter along with the fireworks.

I ask myself that same question sometimes (specially after watching the other top race series, world superbikes and formula 1 in particular this year) but MotoGP is the pinnacle and I still love it, even though it is usually boring to watch, you never know when it might show up a good one. Leguna is next, that usually produces a closer race. Also yesterday I was sitting on the outside of turn 1 so reading a book was out of the question

Yeah saw in a post (I think) you were there. Very jealous. Makes it harder to see how you found it boring though! The noise of the fuckers is enough to give me a chubby.

Stoner and Pedro will have new bikes by then. They've got 2 totally redesigned bikes sitting under some covers waiting for Monday testing. Honda got the shits with the new Bridgestones and moved their 2013 chassis and engines forward to try and sort out the chatter problems they've been having.

Watch out for Stoner at Laguna I'd say.

Yeah I guess after Moto3 and Moto2 being awesome races to watch it is always just a let down to see someone win by 5s plus. I totally agree that Lorenzo is a joy to watch, he is so perfect it is nearing on being non-human. But as a fan you have to always keep in the back of your mind that MotoGP is primarily entertainment. If in Italy you have thousands of people leaving the track before the MotoGP race even starts because they already know the result, surely that doesn't bode well for the future!

Hey Kirk. Good to hear you are in Mugello. I went last year. Was a big crowd - I booked as soon as I heard Valentino Rossi on a Ducati in Mugello, as did many others I guess... well we all know how that story is panning out - anyway awesome event , beautiful part of the world, mad crowd (I cannot believe the passion with which they hate Lorenzo and Pedrosa, but what surprised me was how much they hate Stoner as well.) Also Dovi isn't that popular with most of the crowd. It was all Rossi (and last year) Simoncelli...

Dovi is too quiet to be Italian. He's not flamboyant, he drives a station wagon and the most stylish thing he wears is his leathers and sunnies. Not surprising that the Italians gravitate to the other Italian riders.
