Yep . You can get a smaller engine in a weet bix packet , but it will make that thing go faster and not use as much gas. Otherwise they're alright I spose.Once you've thrown away all the British suspension and thrown Toyota stuff under it.

I don't really like the colour and Auto would not have been my choice. But the dodgy left knee will appreciate Auto.

It's probably not as good as my tatty 1995 Pajero, but it's a RANGE ROVER

Yep the sure did, My dad owned one for about 2 years, went like a bloody scalded cat. I wasn't allowed to drive it. Took another for a test drive in Tokoroa, nearly got me some moving violation points when a local stepped out in front of me, brakes under powered to stop[ them with the six in em.

The six was too heavy for them and you needed to do some serious suspension work if you wanted them to go around corners. Burnouts on the other hand, were a piece of cake! Three speed manual box wasn't so good though, but the four speed couldn't handle the torque.

You could build a mean street machine by using the 3500V8 as there was plenty of room under the bonnet.

Call them a comfy sponge that soaks up money better than a Chamois soaks up water.

Yup, a 2.62 litre (from memory) six that could also be had in the P76.

Marina coupes were deplorable with the same sized doors as the normal 4-door ones.
