Don't Panic! Having the rings is not the end of the world, they should fade in time. If your TV has them, by all means call Prime to complain but there is no need to turn this into an insurance claim....

It would take something a LOT heavier than a TV to put a dent in my boy.

So, has anyone had this issue and actually bothered to call Prime/Sky? If you have, please let us know how Prime/Sky took care of you.

I never intended to get into the Plasma vs LCD vs LCD LED debate and I won't. In the end it comes down to your personal taste, but this is what some experts say:

    http://asia.cnet.com/led-vs-plasma-v...s-62213538.htm

    Light output (brightness)
    Winner: LED TVs
    Loser: Plasma TVs
    Runner-Up: LCD TVs

    Black level
    Winner: Plasma TVs
    Loser: LCD TVs
    Runner-up: LED TVs

    Contrast ratio
    Winner: Plasma TVs
    Loser: LCD TVs
    Runner-up: LED TVs

    Viewing angle
    Winner: Plasma TVs
    Losers: LCD and LED TVs
Runners-up: IPS-based LCD and LED TVs (see text)

    Energy consumption
    Winner: LED TVs
    Loser: Plasma TVs
    Runner-up: LCD TVs

    Price
    Winner: CCFL TVs
    Loser: LED TVs
    Runner-up: Plasma TVs

    Lifespan
    Tie

    Burn-in
    Tie

    Uniformity
    Winner: Plasma TVs
    Losers: LCD and LED TVs

    Conclusion?

"If you watch a lot of TV during the day, or have a room with lots of windows, an LED TV is probably best. If you watch at night, and want the TV to disappear into the background, plasma is probably best. "

I think people spend far to much time in front of the TV. Rather be having a life.

Thats why my 20" CRT is mint. $20 off TM.

    first world problems.
Change "TV" to "KFC" and you got 3rd world.

Not sure how to change the channel to 2nd world. But suspect it has something to do with middle earth.

Don't worry Maki, they have a support group

This lady also got her ring burned by prime, just after this photo was taken.

Frankly I don't know how you can sit down, let alone tell us about it. That bad boy looks like he could have split you in 2
