did you try and cross it? i couldnt be bothered checking how deep it was so just went around it via diversion road

You know I'm keen to ride, wouldn't mind doing some more of Banks Peninsula.
i would been keen for lees valley
Water levels have been going up and down like a yo yo with the rain but R was through there on Sunday and tells me it's fine so long as you have a look and choose a good line (though it's currently listing between 6 and 7 cubic meters per second on ECAN website).
Always good to have a mate there to help if needed when it's like that though.

this is what it was like this time last year (20.8.11)
i normally go up one side of the waimak and enter lees valley behind oxford. i think TA normally goes in the other end
